چکیده
This paper focuses on modeling mixed traffic flow that comprises human-driven vehicles (HV), adaptive cruise control (ACC) vehicles, and cooperative (CACC) in the off-ramp diverging area. The car-following behaviors of HVs, ACC CACC are modeled using an intelligent driver model (IDM), model, respectively. lane-changing different types areas anticipatory lane change (ALC) mandatory (MLC) model. Freeway Lane Management Approach In Mixed Traffic Environment with Connected Autonomous Vehicles
Connected autonomous vehicles (CAV) technologies are about to be in the market in the near future. This requires transportation facilities ready to operate in a mixed traffic environment where a portion of vehicles are CAVs and the remaining are manual vehicles. Since CAVs are able to run with less spacing and headway compared with manual vehicles or mixed traffic, allocating a number of freewa...

The introduction of semiautomated vehicles designed to operate with manually driven vehicles is a realistic near-term objective. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effects on traffic-flow characteristics and environment when semiautomated vehicles with automatic vehicle following capability (in the same lane) operate together with manually driven vehicles. We have shown that semiautoma...

A vehicular ad hoc network (VANET) is a vehicular-wireless network enabling vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications and vehicle to infrastructure (V2I) communications. VANET has been under the international spotlight because various applications can be developed by leveraging those wireless communications to avoid vehicular collisions or to save energies. Most of VANET applications have been de...
متن کاملModeling and Analysis of Vehicles Flow on the Road
Abstract: This study is carried out to describe the behaviour of vehicles flow on the road, in the presence of blocking effects. A non-linear three dimensional system of ordinary differential equations is used to describe vehicles flow on the road. The study classify total vehicles population on the road into three compartments as Free – Slow – Released vehicles. The formulated model is well-po...
